Create, enjoy, interact, listen and taste the arts during Art Walk Huntingdon.
Art Walk Huntingdon will take place on the third Thursday of every month with the next one on November 15, 2018 during the hours of 5:00-8:00 PM. This month’s Art Walk features lots of creative activities around Halloween and Day of the Dead.
The event is an open house format with no defined start or end point. Each participating venue will host an art related special event, performance, or activity. Don’t worry if you can’t make it everywhere…there is always next month!

Standing Stone Coffee Co. – “Designing Your Own Gift Basket” at Standing Stone Coffee Company. Get in the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The shop will be busy with food and drink tasting, music, and Holiday Gift Basket making. Beyond its regular Market items that can fill your gift basket, Standing Stone Coffee Co. will also be hosting the following special guests: Big Spring Spirits; The Giving Box; Village Eatinghouse; Bob Yocum Woodworking; Maya Mountain Spices; Arbonne’s Skin Care, and Live, Laugh, & Bath will be featuring their soaps, candles, tarts, and etc.. Expert Amanda Werner, from The Giving Box, will be available to assist you with putting together the perfect gift basket. Samples will be provided by Big Spring Spirits and Village Eatinghouse. All vendors will have items that can be put into a gift baskets or purchased separately.
MudJunkies Ceramics Club at Juniata College Ceramics Studio invites Art Walk participants to create a custom leaf for the mosaic tree emerging on the side of the Sill Business Incubator building.
Juniata College Museum of Art – mining the museum opening & Juniata College student instrumental music groups 5:30 & 7:00
Juniata College Beeghly Library will have a small exhibition about the history of the war with some artifacts as part of the observance of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. There will also be the opportunity to immerse yourself in various war locations through Virtual Reality.
Huntingdon Area High School Auditorium Lobby – Enjoy a festive night of ornament making. Stations will be set up for you to enjoy creating different ornaments from around the world including folded paper German Bells, wonderfully smelling cinnamon ornaments popular throughout North America in the 19th century, and Dutch inspired shoe ornaments.
